Responsibility
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable network architectures including LAN, WAN, and data center networks.
- Configure and optimize routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers (Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto).
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide tier-3 escalation support.
- Develop and enforce network security policies, including VPNs, ACLs, and intrusion prevention.
- Plan and execute network upgrades, migrations, and capacity expansions with zero downtime.
- Document network topology, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with DevOps and cloud teams to integrate hybrid and multi-cloud connectivity.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in network engineering with a focus on enterprise environments.
- Deep expertise in BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, and spanning-tree protocols.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS, NX-OS, and Meraki dashboard.
- Strong knowledge of network security (firewalls, IPS/IDS, VPN, 802.1X).
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark).
- Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
