Responsibility
- Design, implement, and manage complex network architectures including LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN solutions.
- Lead the migration and maintenance of MPLS, VPLS, and VPN services to ensure high-availability and disaster recovery.
- Oversee network security protocols, including firewall management (Palo Alto, Fortinet), IDS/IPS, and zero-trust architecture.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts (Python, Ansible, Terraform) for network provisioning, monitoring, and remediation.
- Collaborate with the Cloud Engineering team to optimize hybrid cloud networking with AWS Direct Connect and Azure ExpressRoute.
- Provide tier-3 support for critical network incidents, performing root cause analysis and implementing long-term fixes.
- Mentor junior network engineers and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions on emerging technologies like SDN and Network as a Service.
- Manage vendor relationships and evaluate new hardware/software, creating proof-of-concept environments for testing.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity.
- Expert-level knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and switching technologies (VLAN, STP, VPC, VXLAN).
- Deep experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls and Panorama management.
- Proficiency in cloud networking: AWS (VPC, Transit Gateway) and Azure (Virtual WAN, ExpressRoute).
- Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Ansible, or Terraform.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- CCNP or CCIE certification is highly preferred.
