Responsibility
- Monitor surveillance systems and patrol premises to prevent security breaches
- Enforce access control policies and verify credentials for all personnel
- Respond promptly to emergencies including fire alarms, medical incidents, and security threats
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services during critical situations
- Train junior security staff on standard operating procedures
- Conduct routine equipment checks and maintenance inspections
Qualification
- Valid NYS Security Guard License (Class D)
- Minimum 3 years commercial security experience
- CPR/First Aid certification required
- Exceptional communication and de-escalation skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- Proficiency with surveillance technology and reporting software
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license with clean record
