Responsibility
- Architect, deploy, and maintain Linux/Windows server environments across on-premises and AWS/Azure cloud platforms
- Implement robust monitoring solutions using tools like Nagios, Zabbix, or Datadog for proactive issue resolution
- Manage enterprise-level virtualization (VMware/KVM) and container orchestration (Kubernetes/Docker)
- Develop automation scripts (Python/Ansible) to streamline provisioning and maintenance workflows
- Ensure 99.99% uptime through rigorous backup/recovery testing and disaster planning
- Lead security hardening initiatives and maintain compliance with SOC 2/ISO 27001 standards
- Document system configurations and create runbooks for operational excellence
Qualification
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise system administration with Linux and Windows Server
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) with proven infrastructure-as-code implementation (Terraform/CloudFormation)
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash/PowerShell) for automation and troubleshooting
- Deep understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls)
- Certifications in CompTIA Server+, Linux+, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect preferred
- Experience with monitoring tools and capacity planning for high-traffic environments
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with demonstrated incident management leadership
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with development and security teams
