Responsibility
- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily production workflows, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently, on time, and within budget.
- Team Management: Supervise, mentor, and develop a diverse team of operators, providing constructive feedback and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a secure workplace for all employees.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor product quality standards and implement corrective actions immediately to minimize waste and rework.
- Process Improvement: Identify operational bottlenecks and lead initiatives to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
- Reporting: Generate and present daily/weekly production reports to upper management regarding output, efficiency, and labor costs.
Qualification
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing, logistics, or operations environment.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associateās degree in Business, Operations, or related field is a plus.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles (Six Sigma, Kaizen) is highly preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively train and motivate staff.
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to use inventory management software, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and basic MS Office applications.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues under pressure and make data-driven decisions.
