Responsibility
- Oversee safe vessel operations, navigation, and cargo handling during voyages
- Lead and manage diverse crew members, ensuring compliance with maritime regulations
- Plan and execute voyage strategies considering weather, traffic, and port protocols
- Maintain meticulous logs, safety drills, and emergency response procedures
- Coordinate with port authorities, charterers, and shore-based operations teams
- Implement strict adherence to SOLAS, MARPOL, and company safety policies
- Optimize fuel efficiency and operational cost management
Qualification
- Valid Class 1 Master Mariner License from a recognized maritime authority
- Minimum 5+ years as Captain or Senior Officer on commercial vessels
- Proven track record in crew management and leadership in multicultural environments
- Expertise in voyage planning, cargo operations, and maritime regulations
- Strong decision-making skills under high-pressure conditions
- Advanced certifications in crisis management and emergency response
- Physical fitness and medical clearance for maritime duties
