Responsibility
- Oversee the administration, maintenance, and security of on-premise and cloud-based server infrastructure (AWS, Azure).
- Lead incident response efforts for Tier 3 escalated issues and conduct root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences.
- Implement and manage automation workflows using Ansible, Terraform, and PowerShell / Python scripts.
- Manage Active Directory, GPOs, DNS, DHCP, and identity management solutions (Okta / Azure AD).
- Monitor system performance, capacity planning, and cost optimization across all environments.
- Ensure compliance with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and other relevant security frameworks.
- Mentor junior team members and document system configurations and procedures.
Qualification
- 5+ years of experience in System Administration or a similar DevOps / SysOps role.
- Expert-level knowledge of Windows Server 2019/2022 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
- Proficiency in scripting with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and Configuration Management (Ansible).
- Deep understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, DNS, Load Balancing).
- Proven experience managing virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere / Hyper-V).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure during critical outages.
