Responsibility
- Verify and dispense prescriptions accurately while ensuring compliance with all regulations.
- Provide expert medication counseling and health consultations to patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize drug therapy and outcomes.
- Oversee pharmacy technicians and manage daily workflow.
- Maintain inventory, control costs, and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals.
- Conduct health screenings and immunization services.
- Stay current with pharmacy laws, drug interactions, and best practices.
Qualification
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from an accredited institution.
- Current New York State Pharmacist license in good standing.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical pharmacy experience.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy software and electronic health records.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends.
- Immunization certification preferred.
