Nexus Technologies is seeking a skilled System Administrator to manage and maintain our IT infrastructure in Seattle. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our systems.

Responsibility
- Manage and monitor Windows and Linux servers
- Implement and maintain network security, including firewalls and VPNs
- Perform system backups and disaster recovery planning
- Configure and troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripheral devices
- Automate tasks using scripting (PowerShell, Bash)
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users
Qualification
- Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux operating systems
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Ability to script and automate tasks using PowerShell or Bash
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSA, CompTIA Linux+) are a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
