Responsibility
- Design, implement, and maintain highly available infrastructure across on-premise data centers and AWS/Azure cloud environments.
- Automate system provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment using Ansible, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab CI).
- Manage the full server lifecycle, including OS hardening, patch management, and performance tuning for Linux and Windows servers.
- Own the monitoring and alerting stack (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) to proactively identify and resolve system anomalies.
- Administer critical business applications including Active Directory, Office 365, Google Workspace, and identity providers (Okta).
- Architect and execute robust backup strategies and disaster recovery drills to ensure business continuity.
- Serve as the escalation point for complex network and system incidents, conducting root cause analysis and implementing preventative measures.
- Maintain strict security protocols, access controls, and compliance documentation for SOC 2 and HIPAA audits.
Qualification
- 4+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator or Site Reliability Engineer.
- Deep mastery of Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS) and Windows Server (2016/2019) administration.
- Hands-on cloud engineering experience with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC) or Azure.
- Strong programming/scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation) and Configuration Management (Ansible / Chef).
- Working knowledge of container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm) and CI/CD tools.
- Excellent communication skills and a track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
