As a Tailor with us, you will work closely with our design team, ensuring each piece reflects our commitment to excellence and precision.
Responsibility
- Execute precise bespoke alterations, including hemming, taking in/out seams, and adjusting waistbands.
- Create custom garments from scratch, following pattern drafts and client measurements.
- Collaborate with designers and stylists to interpret sketches and fabric selections.
- Maintain equipment and workspaces, ensuring a safe and organized environment.
- Provide exceptional client consultations, interpreting style preferences and offering expert advice.
- Uphold quality standards, performing final inspections before delivery.
- Stay updated on emerging tailoring techniques, materials, and industry trends.
Qualification
- Minimum 3 years of professional tailoring experience, preferably in a bespoke or high‑end environment.
- Proficiency in hand‑sewing and machine‑sewing techniques, including invisible hemming and buttonhole creation.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabric properties, and pattern interpretation.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurement charts.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in execution.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.
- Certifications or formal training in tailoring or fashion design are a plus.
