Responsibility
- Design and deliver rigorous undergraduate and graduate-level courses in Data Science, Machine Learning, and Statistics.
- Lead an active, externally funded research program and publish high-impact papers in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
- Mentor and advise PhD students, guiding them through their research projects and career development.
- Secure research grants from federal agencies and private foundations to support laboratory and field work.
- Contribute to the department's strategic vision, including curriculum development and program accreditation.
- Engage in service activities, including committee membership and academic outreach programs.
Qualification
- PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- A demonstrated record of peer-reviewed publications and research excellence commensurate with tenure requirements.
- Proven experience in teaching and mentoring students at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
- Strong expertise in programming languages such as Python, R, or C++, and deep learning frameworks.
- Track record of securing external research funding and grant proposals.
