Responsibility
- Efficiently receive, pick, pack, and ship incoming and outgoing orders using handheld scanners (RF scanners) and warehouse management systems.
- Operate material handling equipment safely, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers (certification preferred, training available for top candidates).
- Maintain an organized and clean workspace, adhering to all safety protocols and 5S principles to ensure a zero-incident environment.
- Inspect products for quality and accuracy against shipping manifests, reporting discrepancies to the shift supervisor.
- Participate in daily cycle counts and physical inventory audits to uphold inventory accuracy standards.
- Collaborate with team members and cross-functional departments to meet strict fulfillment deadlines and productivity goals.
- Assist with general warehouse upkeep, including stocking shelves, organizing pallets, and managing waste materials.
Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or similar industrial/logistics environment.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs regularly, occasionally up to 75 lbs) for the duration of the shift.
- Basic proficiency with computer systems and RF scanner technology.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a sense of urgency to meet deadlines.
- Availability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, or overtime as business needs dictate.
- Forklift certification or prior experience operating powered industrial trucks (PIT) is a strong plus.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
