Responsibility
- Operate Class A commercial vehicle for regional freight transport across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections following DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and cargo details
- Load and unload freight as needed using proper lifting techniques
- Communicate with dispatch to report delays, route changes, or issues
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company safety regulations
- Maintain clean driving record and professional appearance
Qualification
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- HS diploma or equivalent required; additional education preferred
- Must be 23 years of age or older
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Hazmat endorsement is a plus
