Responsibility
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional freight transport within Texas and surrounding states
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections following DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, fuel consumption, and delivery documentation
- Safely load, secure, and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Communicate with dispatchers regarding route updates, delays, or customer concerns
- Maintain compliance with FMCSA regulations, including HOS requirements
- Represent the company professionally with customers during deliveries
- Keep truck interior clean and report maintenance issues promptly
Qualification
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable OTR or regional trucking experience
- Pass DOT medical examination and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds repeatedly
- Basic computer skills for logging and communication
- Must be 23 years or older for interstate travel
- No more than 2 moving violations in past 3 years
- Professional references from previous employers
