As a Certified Nurse-Midwife on our team, you will provide comprehensive prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care to women and families in a supportive, woman-centered environment. Responsibility

  • Provide complete prenatal care including physical exams, lab work ordering, and fetal assessment
  • Manage labor and delivery with a focus on low-intervention, natural childbirth options
  • Deliver babies in our modern birth center and attend home births within our service area
  • Offer breastfeeding support and postpartum care for mothers and newborns
  • Develop individualized birth plans that align with each family's preferences and values
  • Collaborate with OB/GYN physicians for high-risk consultations and emergency situations
  • Educate patients on nutrition, exercise, and newborn care throughout pregnancy

Qualification

  • Active Registered Nurse license in Oregon with compact licensure preferred
  • Graduate degree (MSN or DNP) from an accredited nurse-midwife education program
  • Current certification by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB)
  • BLS and NRP certifications with fetal heart monitoring proficiency
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in labor and delivery or midwifery practice
  • Experience with water birth, Hypnobirthing, or alternative pain management preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for patient education and empowerment
  • Spanish or Mandarin language skills are a plus but not required
