Responsibility
- Conduct psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations using evidence-based tools.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and their families.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy to patients across the lifespan.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure integrated care.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with regulations.
- Participate in supervision, training, and continuing education activities.
- Contribute to program development and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualification
- Doctorate degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an APA-accredited program.
- Current and unrestricted license to practice psychology in New York State.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience post-licensure.
- Strong diagnostic skills and experience with a variety of therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, psychodynamic).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to cultural competence and working with diverse populations.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
