Responsibility
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks over long distances while adhering to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of freight, maintaining a high standard of customer service.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify and report any mechanical issues or damage.
- Manage cargo documentation, including bills of lading, delivery receipts, and trip reports.
- Maintain a clean and organized truck cab and trailer at all times.
- Collaborate with dispatch and logistics teams to optimize routes and resolve delivery issues efficiently.
Qualification
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR or regional driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, hours of service (HOS), and cargo securement procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude.
- Reliable personal vehicle for commuting to and from the terminal.
