Responsibility
- Prepare and cook high-quality menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
- Manage station assignments and coordinate with sous chefs and line cooks during service
- Maintain strict food safety and sanitation standards following OSHA regulations
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to management
- Operate kitchen equipment including grills, fryers, slicers, and ovens safely
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop seasonal menu offerings
- Ensure proper food storage and rotation to minimize waste
Qualification
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen or culinary setting
- ServSafe or Food Handler certification required
- Proficiency in knife skills and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong time management
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holiday shifts
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
