Responsibility
- Prepare and execute high-quality menu items following recipes and presentation standards
- Manage a specific station (grill, sauté, prep, or expo) with efficiency and consistency
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely delivery of orders during peak service
- Maintain strict food safety and sanitation protocols per health regulations
- Collaborate with the sous chef and head chef on seasonal menu development
- Properly store, label, and rotate ingredients to minimize waste
- Clean and maintain station equipment, reporting any malfunctions promptly
Qualification
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a line cook or prep cook in a high-volume restaurant
- ServSafe or equivalent food handler certification
- Proficiency in hot and cold food preparation techniques
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen safety standards
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Capacity to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Team-oriented mindset with positive communication skills
