Responsibility
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of company delivery van
- Plan efficient routes using GPS and mobile applications to ensure on-time deliveries
- Load, secure, and unload packages up to 70 lbs with proper lifting techniques
- Obtain signatures and scan barcodes for proof of delivery confirmation
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding delivery status and schedule changes
- Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols at all times
- Report any delays, damages, or discrepancies to dispatch immediately
Qualification
- Valid California Driver's License with clean driving record (no DUI or major violations)
- Minimum 21 years of age for commercial vehicle insurance purposes
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
- Strong physical ability to lift and move packages up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- Smartphone proficiency with navigation apps and delivery management software
- Excellent time management skills with ability to work independently
