Responsibility
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport packages and freight to residential and commercial destinations
- Follow planned routes and schedules while maintaining timely delivery windows
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and cleanliness
- Load, unload, and properly secure cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating professionally and resolving concerns promptly
- Adhere to DOT regulations, company policies, and local traffic laws at all times
- Collaborate with dispatch and warehouse teams to optimize routing efficiency
Qualification
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no major violations in the past 3 years)
- High school diploma or equivalent; previous delivery or trucking experience preferred
- Ability to lift packages up to 70 pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple stops efficiently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Basic navigational skills and familiarity with local roadways
- Must pass drug screening and background check requirements
