Responsibility
- Prepare and cook menu items according to executive chef's specifications and plating standards
- Manage station inventory, ensuring freshness and quality of all ingredients
- Maintain strict sanitation and safety protocols in all kitchen operations
- Coordinate with team members to ensure seamless service during peak hours
- Adapt to seasonal menu changes and special event requirements
- Train junior staff on cooking techniques and kitchen procedures
- Minimize waste through efficient portion control and resource management
Qualification
- Minimum 3 years professional line cooking experience in high-volume restaurant
- Deep knowledge of Italian cuisine and classical cooking techniques
- ServSafe certification or equivalent food safety credentials
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Team player with excellent communication abilities
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Portfolio of signature dishes preferred
