Responsibility
- Provide attentive table service including order taking, food presentation, and beverage service
- Master extensive wine and menu knowledge to offer personalized recommendations
- Manage table rotations and timing for optimal guest flow
- Process payments accurately and efficiently via POS systems
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service
- Address guest inquiries and resolve concerns with professionalism
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
Qualification
- 2+ years of high-volume restaurant experience preferred
- Valid NYC Food Handler's certification required
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic wine knowledge and TIPS certification a plus
- Strong attention to detail and time management
