Responsibility
- Conduct field surveys using GPS, total stations, and 3D laser scanning technologies
- Analyze survey data and generate precise CAD drawings and topographic maps
- Prepare legal descriptions and boundary documentation for property development
- Collaborate with civil engineers and urban planners to support infrastructure projects
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal land surveying regulations
- Manage survey equipment calibration and maintenance protocols
- Lead junior surveyors and field crews during complex project execution
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying Engineering, Geomatics, or related field
- Active Texas Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license
- 5+ years of experience in boundary, topographic, and construction surveys
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, and GIS software
- Strong understanding of ALTA/NSPS Land Title Survey standards
- OSHA 30-hour construction safety certification preferred
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Valid driver's license with clean record
