Responsibility
- Command & Safety: Take charge of vessel operations, ensuring the absolute safety of the crew, ship, and cargo at all times.
- Compliance: Strictly adhere to international maritime laws, SOLAS regulations, and flag state requirements.
- Crew Management: Lead, mentor, and evaluate the crew, fostering a culture of professionalism and well-being.
- Operations: Supervise navigation, cargo handling, and the maintenance of all shipboard systems.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit statutory reports, voyage plans, and safety audits on time.
Qualification
- Certification: Valid Master Mariner Certificate of Competency (Unlimited Tonnage) issued by a recognized maritime authority.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of sea service, including at least 2 years as a Chief Officer.
- Training: Valid STCW 95 certificates (including Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats, Firefighting, Medical First Aid).
- Skills: Proficiency in Bridge Resource Management (BRM) and offshore emergency training.
- Communication: Excellent command of written and spoken English.
