Responsibility
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles in strict accordance with FMCSA and company safety regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical integrity and safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to proper weight distribution and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all necessary delivery documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules, route changes, and potential delays.
- Uphold a professional image and demonstrate safe driving habits at all times.
Qualification
- Valid US Class A CDL license (Clean driving record required).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, road conditions, and safety regulations.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
