Responsibility
- Safely deliver goods to customers across London and the surrounding regions within agreed timeframes.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections (DVSA checks) and report any mechanical issues immediately to maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and timesheets using handheld digital devices.
- Adhere to all road traffic laws and company safety policies at all times to ensure zero accidents.
- Provide excellent customer service by handling goods with care and maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Secure loads correctly using straps and chains to ensure cargo safety during transit.
- Follow loading protocols to maximize space and efficiency during transit.
Qualification
- Valid HGV Class 2 (C) driving license (CPC Holder required).
- Clean UK driving record (No more than 6 penalty points).
- Previous experience in a similar role (minimum 1 year).
- Strong knowledge of London road networks and traffic regulations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and nights.
- Physically fit and capable of loading/unloading cargo manually.
