Responsibility
- Patrol premises to maintain safety and security.
- Monitor and respond to surveillance systems and alarms.
- Enforce rules and regulations to prevent illegal activities.
- Control access points and verify credentials of visitors.
- Respond to emergencies, including medical incidents and disturbances.
- Maintain detailed logs and reports of all security activities.
- Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
- Provide excellent customer service to visitors and staff.
Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid New York State Security Guard License (or ability to obtain).
- Previous experience in security or law enforcement preferred.
- Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and act decisively in emergencies.
- Physically fit to perform patrol duties and respond to incidents.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
