Responsibility
- Patrol and inspect premises regularly to identify and prevent security risks
- Monitor security systems including CCTV, alarms, and fire detection
- Manage access control by verifying credentials and authorizing entry
- Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarms
- Maintain detailed logs and write incident reports
- Assist in emergency response planning and drills
- Provide friendly and professional customer service
- Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary
Qualification
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid New York State Security Guard License
- At least 1 year of security experience
- Strong observation and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred
