Responsibility
- Monitor and patrol assigned premises to prevent illegal acts or trespass.
- Control access points to the facility, verifying credentials and issuing visitor passes.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, including fire, medical, and security breaches.
- Document all incidents, irregularities, and accidents in the security logbook.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting visitors and answering inquiries professionally.
- Inspect buildings, parking lots, and grounds for safety hazards or security risks.
- Cooperate with law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary.
Qualification
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid NY State Security Guard License (B License).
- Clean criminal background check and drug screening required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and perform physical duties.
- Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Experience with CCTV systems and access control is a plus.
