Responsibility
- Patrol & Monitoring: Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of the facility and grounds to detect and deter unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, or safety hazards.
- Access Control: Enforce strict access control protocols by verifying credentials of all visitors, vendors, and employees entering the premises.
- Emergency Response: Respond swiftly and professionally to alarms, medical emergencies, fire hazards, or security breaches, coordinating with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
- Incident Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed logs of daily activities, suspicious occurrences, and security incidents using the provided digital reporting tools.
- Customer Service: Provide a welcoming and professional demeanor to visitors while answering inquiries and assisting employees as needed.
- Asset Protection: Monitor CCTV surveillance systems and oversee parking areas to ensure the protection of corporate assets.
Qualification
- License: Must possess a valid New York State Guard License or be willing to obtain one within 60 days of hire.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Background Check: Must pass a comprehensive background check including criminal history and fingerprinting.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to de-escalate conflict situations.
- Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit and able to stand/walk for extended periods; ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Experience: Previous experience in security or law enforcement is a plus but not mandatory.
