Responsibility
- Provide premium haircuts, beard trims, and hot towel straight-razor shaves to a high-end clientele.
- Consult with clients to understand their personal style preferences and offer professional recommendations.
- Maintain a sanitized, organized, and visually appealing workspace in compliance with state board regulations.
- Utilize retail sales techniques to recommend and sell professional grooming products.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional customer flow.
- Perform scalp treatments and facial hair maintenance services to expand service menu offerings.
- Build and retain a loyal clientele through exceptional service, booking management, and follow-up communication.
Qualification
- Valid State Barber License in New York (or ability to transfer).
- Minimum of 3 years of professional barbering experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Expert proficiency in modern clipper and scissor techniques, fading, and texturizing.
- Strong knowledge of hot lather shaves, straight razor maintenance, and safe handling practices.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional, polished demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Proven track record of building and retaining a strong client base is highly preferred.
- Flexibility to work a schedule that includes weekends and evenings is required.
