We are seeking an exceptionally talented and experienced Senior Commercial Photographer to join our dynamic team in the heart of New York City. Responsibility
- Lead and execute complex commercial photoshoots, including product, lifestyle, and architectural photography.
- Collaborate closely with Creative Directors, Art Buyers, and Marketing teams to interpret creative briefs and deliver visually stunning assets.
- Manage all aspects of pre-production, including location scouting, set design, and equipment logistics.
- Oversee the entire post-production workflow, ensuring meticulous retouching, color grading, and file delivery.
- Mentor and guide junior photographers and assistants, fostering a culture of excellence and creativity.
- Maintain and troubleshoot a wide range of professional camera, lighting, and grip equipment.
- Implement efficient digital asset management and archiving protocols.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and innovate our visual approach through new techniques and technologies.
Qualification
- 5+ years of proven professional experience in commercial photography with a robust portfolio.
- Mastery of studio and location lighting techniques.
- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop and Lightroom / Capture One.
- Strong understanding of color theory, composition, and visual storytelling.
- Exceptional project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client-facing interactions and team collaboration.
- Experience with medium format digital cameras and specialized equipment (e.g., Profoto, Broncolor) is highly preferred.
- A degree in Photography, Fine Arts, or a related field is a plus.
