Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive land surveys using GPS, total stations, and 3D laser scanning
- Prepare detailed survey reports, plats, and legal descriptions for client submissions
- Oversee field teams and ensure compliance with OSHA safety protocols
- Analyze geospatial data using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, and government agencies for project alignment
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
- Maintain survey equipment calibration and troubleshoot technical issues
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or Civil Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in land surveying with Texas PLS license
- Expertise in boundary retracement and ALTA/NSPS land title surveys
- Proficiency in RTK GNSS, robotic total stations, and UAV photogrammetry
- Strong understanding of Texas land laws and FEMA floodplain regulations
- Certified Survey Technician (CST) Level II or higher preferred
- Proven project management experience with $500k+ budgets
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
