BlueWater Marine Services is seeking an experienced Ship Captain to lead our vessel operations on the Gulf Coast. As Captain, you will command safe navigation, ensure regulatory compliance, and oversee a professional crew while delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Responsibility
- Command the vessel and ensure safe navigation in all weather conditions
- Maintain compliance with U.S. Coast Guard regulations and international maritime standards
- Supervise, train, and direct crew members to achieve operational goals
- Monitor and oversee vessel maintenance, systems, and equipment performance
- Complete and maintain accurate logbooks, reports, and documentation
- Coordinate with port authorities, customers, and other stakeholders for cargo and passenger operations
Qualification
- Valid U.S. Coast Guard Master Mariner license (or recognized equivalent)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a captain or senior deck officer on commercial vessels
- Proficient in modern electronic navigation systems (GPS, AIS, radar, ECDIS)
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and long hours at sea
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional nautical education or certifications are a plus
