In this pivotal role, you will be the first point of contact for our employees, supporting the delivery of our HR strategy and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. You will have the opportunity to work closely with leadership to drive engagement initiatives and maintain full compliance with UK employment law.
What you will do:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment cycle, from job profiling and advertising to shortlisting and onboarding.
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations queries, ensuring fair and consistent resolution.
- Maintain accurate employee records in our HRIS system and ensure strict adherence to GDPR and data protection policies.
- Assist with the administration of payroll, leave management, and C&B processes.
- Support the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
- Conduct new starter inductions and organize engagement activities to boost team morale.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR administration or HR Officer role (CIPD Level 3 or 4 is highly desirable).
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law, HR best practices, and compliance regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in HR software (e.g., CIPD Insight, BambooHR, or Workday).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and a genuine passion for employee well-being.
