Responsibility

  • Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Own the end-to-end recruitment strategy, delivering a world-class experience.
  • Employee Relations: Handle complex ER cases, performance management, and dispute resolution with empathy and commercial acumen.
  • HR Operations & Analytics: Leverage our HRIS (Employment Hero) to maintain data integrity and provide actionable people analytics.
  • Culture & Engagement: Spearhead initiatives boosting morale, inclusion, and retention. Plan offsites and recognition programs.
  • Compliance & Policy: Ensure adherence to Fair Work Act, Modern Awards, WHS obligations. Maintain the employee handbook.
  • Learning & Development: Coordinate L&D pathways and leadership training programs to upskill our workforce.
  • Remuneration & Benefits: Support salary reviews, benefits administration, and market research to keep our rewards package competitive.

Qualification

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or related field. Master’s or AHRI certification is a strong plus.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of proven HR generalist experience in high-growth tech or financial services.
  • Legislative Knowledge: Expert-level understanding of Fair Work Act, Modern Awards, and Unfair Dismissal provisions.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced Google Workspace user. Experience with Employment Hero, Lever, or Culture Amp is highly valued.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills. High EQ, resilience, and ability to influence without authority.
  • Organizational Skills: Project management expertise, capable of handling multiple priorities in a scale-up environment.
  • Discretion: Unquestionable integrity when handling sensitive and confidential employee information.
  • Mindset: Proactive "roll up your sleeves" attitude with a focus on continuous improvement and strategic automation.
