Responsibility
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment in residential and commercial settings.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to determine layout and installation procedures.
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing devices and implement effective solutions.
- Ensure all work meets National Electrical Code (NEC), state, and local safety standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, general contractors, and team members to complete jobs on schedule.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent.
- Mentor apprentices and assist with on-the-job training as needed.
Qualification
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license for the State of Texas (or ability to transfer within 30 days).
- Minimum 4 years of experience in commercial and/or residential electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes, safety protocols, and blueprints.
- Proficient with hand and power tools, testing instruments, and electrical schematics.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights, and operate in various weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license with clean record.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities.
