In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment across various settings. You will work both independently and as part of a collaborative team on new construction projects, renovations, and maintenance contracts. Responsibility
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with local and national electrical codes
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine wiring layout and specifications
- Test electrical systems and components using appropriate testing devices to ensure proper functionality and safety
- Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and determine effective solutions for complex electrical issues
- Ensure strict compliance with local electrical codes, OSHA safety regulations, and company standards
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors on construction and renovation projects
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each project
Qualification
- Valid Texas Journeyman or Master Electrician license is required
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an approved apprenticeship program is preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair
- Proficient in reading blueprints, technical schematics, and electrical diagrams
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical regulations
- Excellent problem-solving, diagnostic, and analytical skills
- Valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Physical ability to stand, kneel, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly
