Responsibility
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and control devices.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical schematics.
- Inspect and test electrical components using appropriate equipment.
- Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and system failures.
- Collaborate with other trades and contractors on multi-disciplinary projects.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
Qualification
- Valid state-issued electrical license (Journeyman or Master).
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on electrical experience.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
- Solid knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes.
- Experience with testing equipment such as multimeters and circuit tracers.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good physical stamina and ability to work in confined spaces.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical school training is a plus.
