Responsibility
- Lead the design and management of civil engineering projects, including roadways, drainage, water systems, and site development.
- Conduct structural analysis and prepare detailed engineering reports, plans, and specifications.
- Ensure strict adherence to local, state, and federal regulations (including Caltrans and local municipal codes).
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate sustainable and resilient design practices.
- Perform site inspections and oversee construction administration to guarantee project quality and safety.
- Mentor junior engineers and review technical documents to maintain high performance standards.
- Develop project budgets, schedules, and coordinate with stakeholders for successful project delivery.
- Utilize advanced software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, BIM) to model and analyze complex engineering systems.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's degree highly preferred).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of California is required.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil engineering, with a focus on land development or public infrastructure.
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and hydrology modeling software.
- Deep understanding of sustainable design principles and LEED accreditation is a plus.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale projects valued over $10M.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to present to clients and public agencies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
