Responsibility
- Execute same-day and scheduled deliveries across Chicagoland with 98%+ on-time accuracy
- Safeguard high-value packages using temperature-controlled and secure transport protocols
- Optimize routes using real-time traffic analytics to maximize daily efficiency
- Maintain detailed delivery logs and provide proactive client communication
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions and special requests
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness standards
Qualification
- 3+ years commercial courier experience with clean driving record
- Valid CDL Class B license or equivalent commercial endorsement
- Proficient in route optimization software (e.g., Route4Me, RoadWarrior)
- Ability to lift packages up to 70 lbs regularly with proper techniques
- Strong knowledge of Chicago metropolitan area geography and traffic patterns
- OSHA Hazmat certification preferred
- Exceptional time management and problem-solving abilities
