Responsibility
- Execute same-day and scheduled deliveries across Manhattan with strict adherence to time windows
- Verify package contents, maintain delivery logs, and obtain electronic signatures
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to ensure timely deliveries and fuel efficiency
- Handle fragile, temperature-sensitive, and high-value packages with specialized care protocols
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Resolve delivery exceptions through proactive communication with clients and dispatch
- Maintain professional appearance and represent SwiftRoute brand standards at all client interactions
Qualification
- Minimum 3 years professional courier or delivery experience in urban environments
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Proficiency with route optimization software and mobile delivery platforms
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shifts
- Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills under pressure
