Responsibility
- Safely navigate vessels through complex international waters and port terminals
- Manage all vessel operations including cargo handling, maintenance scheduling, and crew supervision
- Ensure strict compliance with SOLAS, MARPOL, and flag state regulations
- Develop voyage plans and make real-time navigational decisions during challenging conditions
- Conduct emergency drills and lead crisis response protocols
- Maintain accurate voyage logs and regulatory documentation
- Coordinate with port authorities, charterers, and shore-based operations teams
Qualification
- Master Mariner (Class 1) License with STCW certification
- Minimum 8+ years sea experience with 3+ years in command roles
- Proven track record in vessel operations across Southeast Asia routes
- Advanced proficiency in ECDIS, radar navigation, and bridge systems
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing diverse crews
- Crisis management and emergency response training certifications
