In this role, you will be the face of our brand, crafting exceptional beverages while providing an unforgettable customer experience. We pride ourselves on using ethically sourced beans and sustainable practices.
Responsibility
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, pour-overs, and specialty coffees.
- Maintain a pristine, sanitized work environment, including espresso machines, blenders, and dining areas.
- Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and making product recommendations.
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems efficiently and handle cash transactions with accuracy.
- Perform opening and closing duties, including inventory counts and equipment maintenance.
- Assist with food preparation and plating to ensure high presentation standards.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
Qualification
- Previous experience as a Barista or in the food service industry (1-2 years preferred).
- Proficiency in operating commercial espresso machines and grinders.
- Strong understanding of coffee brewing techniques and flavor profiles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Reliable transportation and a valid food handler’s permit (where required).
