Responsibility
- Expertly prepare espresso drinks, pour-overs, and seasonal specialty beverages
- Deliver personalized customer service with product knowledge of coffee origins and brewing techniques
- Maintain pristine workspace through systematic cleaning of espresso machines, grinders, and service areas
- Process transactions accurately using POS systems while handling cash and digital payments
- Collaborate with team to optimize inventory rotation and minimize waste
- Contribute to seasonal menu development and promotional campaigns
- Train new hires on brewing standards and customer engagement protocols
Qualification
- Minimum 1 year professional barista experience with espresso machine proficiency
- Advanced latte art skills (rosettas, tulips, hearts) and milk texturing expertise
- Knowledge of coffee processing methods and flavor profiles
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to multitask in high-volume settings
- ServSafe Food Handler certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Flexibility to work weekends, early mornings, and holidays
- Basic inventory management and cash handling experience
- Portfolio of latte art or coffee competition participation preferred
