Responsibility
- Operate and maintain fishing gear and equipment.
- Assist in the navigation and safe operation of the vessel.
- Sort, clean, and process catch according to company standards.
- Monitor weather conditions and ensure crew safety.
- Perform routine maintenance on engines and winches.
- Keep detailed logs of catches and vessel operations.
- Collaborate with crew to maximize efficiency and productivity.
Qualification
- Minimum 2 years of commercial fishing experience.
- Valid USCG Merchant Mariner Credential or equivalent.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in harsh conditions.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
