Join our award-winning team at The Driskill Hotel, a historic luxury property in the heart of downtown Austin. We are seeking an experienced Hotel Manager to lead our operations team and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
As a Hotel Manager, you will oversee all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring seamless execution across departments including front desk, housekeeping, food & beverage, and events. You will be responsible for maintaining our luxury standards, driving revenue growth, and mentoring a team of hospitality professionals.

Responsibility
- Direct and coordinate hotel operations including front desk, housekeeping, concierge, and food & beverage services
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure consistency and quality standards
- Monitor daily operations, address guest complaints, and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction scores
- Manage departmental budgets, control costs, and identify opportunities for revenue optimization
- Hire, train, and supervise department heads while promoting a positive workplace culture
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop packages, promotions, and events that drive bookings
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Prepare operational reports, analyze performance metrics, and present recommendations to ownership
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years of hotel management experience, preferably in a luxury or boutique property
- Proven track record of increasing occupancy rates and guest satisfaction scores
- Strong knowledge of hotel management software (Opera, Cloudbeds, or similar)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and P&L statements
- ServSafe certification or equivalent food safety credential preferred
