Responsibility
- Oversee daily production operations, ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety protocols
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 15-20 production staff through performance management
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflows and reduce waste
- Coordinate maintenance schedules and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime
- Analyze production data to identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process improvements and new product launches
- Manage inventory control and supply chain logistics for production materials
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years experience in manufacturing supervision or leadership role
- Proven track record of implementing lean manufacturing methodologies
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret production metrics and KPIs
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety management experience
- Proficient in ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills with ability to lead diverse teams
- Experience with Six Sigma or process improvement methodologies preferred
